Kava® coffee is a full-flavored reduced acid instant coffee that has at least 50% less acid per cup than other leading coffee brands. Enjoy the rich coffee taste without all the bitterness.

KAVA® COFFEE IS BORN
In 1962, Borden Co. brings the first Kava® coffee to market, originally touted as the world's "first full flavor instant coffee." More than half a century later, we're still creating the world's best low acid, rich and premium coffee on the market.
THE PRICE IS RIGHT
Kava® was featured on Season 1, Episode 3 of "The Price is Right," where contestants played to win a color TV and pair of recliners by guessing the price of a Kava coffee jar in the iconic television show's "Grocery Game".
PAUL HARVEY ENDORSES KAVA
Iconic American radio personality and news columnist, Paul Harvey, advocates his love for Kava® coffee on his popular radio show. He continues to popularize Kava coffee throughout the decade of the 1970's.
NASCAR GETS A CAFFEINE BOOST
Backed by Kava®, drag race star Earl Canavan nationally campaigns a 1974 Plymouth Road Runner in the NASCAR and USAC late model divisions, and a 1972 Foyt in the USAC Championship circuit. Both cars are painted in the Kava colors of brown, orange, blue and white.
